Hotel Zed Victoria

We loved the room, layout and all the amenities the hotel offered including local coffee you can brew in room with a cafe press. Great location, close to everything. Staff were fantastic and we were without nothing during our stay. Everything about the hotel is incredibly thoughtful and well laid out. I was especially impressed with the in-room structure and organization, everything had a place and was easy to find while leaving ample space (that was well-laid out space) for our things. An example is that all the drawers were deep and wide allowing us to just plop the kids duffle bags and backpacks into them and rather than those drawers being merely dressers with a lamp on them, they were transformed into extra seating. Lights were cleverly mounted on the existing furniture or hanging from the ceiling aesthetically. Also nice, was that many lights had dimmers which is great for anyone in need of a nightlight.

The surrounding area does have a lot of trash/garbage which made it *feel slightly less safe. We did specifically ask for a quieter part of the hotel but nothing stopped the sirens from blasting as emergency vehicles went by at all hours- the room was not soundproof at all. Grandma's Basement was missing pool table balls which made playing tricky, and we couldn't find any other games in the room. There was a record player but someone had messed up all the vinyl and everything was in the wrong case.

대중교통을 이용하기 너무 편했고 바로 앞에 큰 쇼핑몰이 있어 좋았습니다. 다운타운에서는 조금 거리가 있지만 버스로 5 정거장 정도 거리라서 가까웠고 오히려 조용해서 다운타운에 위치한것 보다 나았습니다. 가장 좋은 점은 청결함입니다. 숙소는 매우 관리가 잘되어있었고, 곳곳에 바로 c타입 충전이 가능하도록 콘센트가 위치해서 매우 편리했습니다.

아쉬운점은 객실내 생수, 티, 커피 등이 서비스되지 않고 욕실에 칫솔은 구비되어 있지 않습니다. 우리는 칫솔을 가지고 여행을 하기때문에 문제가 되지는 않았지만 다른 분들은 이점을 참고하는게 좋겠습니다. 호텔인데 생수가 서비스 되지 않은 점은 정말 의외였습니다.

Very cool retro decor was a little like stepping back in time. My 8-year-old son loved the pool table in the downstairs rec room, the yo-yo in the room, and the heated pool with waterslide. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for seeing a show at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

Location was fine. It was nice having the mall across the street, but it's a busy highway so expect traffic noise. We stayed in the cottage and first experience opening the door was the musty old smell, we never got used to it! It's not only themed in the 70s/80s but the smell is that too. Beds were comfortable and clean but it was a little dingy feeling lots of dings on the walls and stains on the furniture and grub buildup in the corners, especially the bathroom. Our toilet broke at one point and although the repair guy came fast and was kind, he left muddy foot prints in the bathroom and we didn't want towels to clean it up as we used all of them to clean the running toilet and he didn't fully fix the toilet either. There is a fire exit door that doesn't have a lock on it from the inside (separate from the main door and down a second floor) this made us feel uncomfortable not being able to lock it on our side but at the bottom of the stairs with a key card access it could be accessed- just didn't make us sleep super well with young kids. It was not our cup of tea and we wouldn't be back.

Lage an der Hauptstraße im Gewerbegebiet, Fast-Food-Geruch von altem Fett vom KFC direkt vor dem Haus sobald man die Tür öffnet. Bei geschlossener Tür sind weder Geräusche noch Geruch ein Problem.
