I stayed here in spite of the mixed reviews drawn by the gorgeous lobby, location, hilton points, and that all the hotels nearby also had mixed reviews. I wish I had known 1) Get an odd numbered room that overlooks the pedestrian plaza for more quiet. Between the hotel (even rooms) and Gare Centrale is music, demonstrations, and just a lot going on in general. That said it all quieted down after ~11 pm 2) The beds are really really hard 3) Climate control does not work. It is an older hotel that can be set to heat or cool. Since there had been a heat wave then it got cold, it only blew cool air and there was zero correlation between the set temperature and what came out of the vent 4) The marble bathroom looks luxurious but the side of the tub is really really high. Anyone very petite or with a slight mobility impairment or who is a fall risk should stay away or see about an accessible room 5) The small Carrefour grocery store nect door or shops in the train station are great for drinks, snacks (including fresh produce) or other neefs 6) There are unhoused people in the area and city in general but they never bothered anyone and I never felt unsafe 7) The hotel really is conveinent to everything

Otima localizaçao, quartos grandes e confortaveis

Funcionarios nao muito simpaticos. Horario do checkin sabiamos que era as 15h. Chegamos as 13h, devido horario do voo. Havia quarto disponivel, porem para entrar antes do checkin cobram taxa de 50 euros! Nunca recebi este tipo de cobranca! Todos hoteis disponibilizam suite antes do horario se houver disponivel!!!! Deixamos malas no locker e entramos apos as 15h

Le cadre, la decoration des lieux est sans conteste appreciable. Le personnel est avenant, également. La qualité de la literie est également à souligner.

J'ai trouvé la chambre particulièrement bruyante. Certes, il y avait les festivités en extérieur, mais l'insonorisation des fenêtres peut être sensiblement améliorée. Par ailleurs, au niveau interne, il est à craindre que la gaine technique passait par la chambre, régulièrement dans la nuit (je dois avouer que j'ai le sommeil léger), mais il y avait comme un bruit de foreuse incessant, était-ce de l'eau qui passait par les canalisations. Je l'ignore, mais j'ai fort peu dormi. Donc, à ressayer en espérant, une chambre moins "bruyante"... Sinon, dans l'absolu, je recommanderai bien entendu le lieu.
