Ramada by Wyndham Mackinaw City Waterfront

It was a very nice stay… employees were very nice. Just noticed in room, the smoke detector was extremely dusty and all of the fire doors 1st to 3rd floors at both ends of hallway were blocked open which goes against for code

The jacuzzi room we were in the first night smelled of mildew so badly that we had to change rooms. Unfortunately, they didnt have any other jacuzzi rooms. They were very friendly and accommodating with our request. Overall the building hasnt been updated in years. It was clean and good for sleeping while spending the day outdoors.

We left hotel after being in room for 5 minutes musty and very dirty

I liked how I had a balcony to look Orr at the lake

The people in the next room over were loud and arguing and slamming the patio door and going in and out of the patio doors constantly. It was rather annoying and not very peaceful

Staff was friendly

Room smelled of mold immediately as you walked in. Balcony was disgusting. Hair in the jacuzzie tub. Floor mat in jacuzzi tub wwas peeling up. Who wants to soak in a tub with the floormat flapping around with you. Wouldnt let my worst enemy stay here.

Room had mold on the wall and floor in front of the sliding doors felt like we were going to fall through(rotted wood?)

There was blood on the bedsheets and the entire bathroom was moldy. We notified the front desk staff and she brought us new sheets without a word. We were disgusted by the hotel and wanted to leave early. We asked if we could leave 1 day early (still paying for the time we have spent) but they were wildly unhelpful. I was stiffed with road blocking questions, no empathy, no apology for the quality, or anything. The manager on duty (Samantha) could not care less, even smoking her vape pen in front of me while denying my request. I continued to ask to escalate and she would not. We ended up leaving early anyways and my request to not have to pay for the second night was not accepted so I had to pay for the night I didn't stay. Terrible experience in every way.

Adequate onsite parking and the waterfront location were a plus

Great location. But the building needs renovation. Very worn and out of date. Just wear and tear.
