Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown Hotel

Everything was really what I was waiting for after a long drive . I recommend this hotel.

I love the location of the hotel and the ease of getting around. The rooms are always comfortable and mostly quiet. The amenities are great as well.

The pool area. Both nights we stayed we went down to the pool between 7-8pm. There were no towels available, and someone had even called up to the front desk to let them know and after an hour, still no one came down to bring towels. The change rooms were also in pretty bad shape with wet towels on the floor, and paper towel on the floor beside and in front of the sink. The elevators were also hit and miss. Sometimes they'd skip floors, and there was always huge line ups in the morning and at night.

Stayed at new Sandman Hotel. Room was nice, renovated and big, very good for us. We had very good time at Moxies, our server was perfect. But we little bit worried about hallway. We stay on 3rd floor and it was very dirty. Many trash in hallway, food on floor, and big garbage bags near lift. We stay 2 days and nobody clean it. That was not good.

The staff was awesome the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy # best stay ever

The location was good, 5 blocks from Vancouver central station. Moxies was lovely - really pleasant attentive staff. I made the most of happy hour & had a very reasonable meal with lovely wine. The room was spacious & comfortable.

I felt it was a bit mean generally. There were tea bags provided but no kettle (I had to request one from reception which took ages to come). There were coffee bags but no jug for the coffee machine (?), do people steal these things? Paper & plastic cups, no glasses or mugs. It all felt a bit cheap. Nothing major, but overall I felt it could have been better. I didn’t visit the pool/jacuzzi so can’t comment.

Location was perfect for the purpose of our travel - to see Les Miz, which was playing right across the street at the Queen Elizabeth theatre.

The sink was way too small - I couldn’t even wash my face in it, and ZERO counter space was ridiculous. It was a real struggle trying to get ready for our event without being able to store my hair and makeup products reasonably in the bathroom. - Balancing on top of the toilet and floor. I really recommend installing ANY kind of counter in the bathroom, even if it has to be small to fit.
