Florence Inn and Suites

It LOOKED like it was a nice place from outside with a pool my son and I was looking forward to staying here

Immediately upon entrance we noticed how run down it looked with tape holding up the curtains and tape on the door latch? Plus I paid specifically for a room with a sofa bed for my son to sleep on instead of in bed with me since they didn’t have a double bed room available. We were both too tired after a 14hr drive to really care and was just going to overlook it until what looked like a grasshopper came running across the floor followed by three or four more. We immediately left out and went to the front desk clerk. She informed us that they’ve been seeing several of them due to openings in the doors! Like it’s ok to have ANY type of bugs in your room crawling around. She did not offer us any different rooms or accommodations although the next day the manager told us the clerk had offered us another room. Once again I was appalled by the manager telling me “they’re only grasshoppers”!!! As if this is acceptable room conditions!!! The only good thing I have to say is they did refund our room price for a non refundable room although only after several phone calls including my husband talking to the property manager.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Great location. Very quiet

Nothing.

Everything; Smells of cigarettes, blinds were broke , lock was broken, holes in the wall, people at all hours being dropped off, glass pipes in the parking area, sheets were dirty, worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Not a safe area.

Looked good and was comfortable. Staff was nice.

No coffee in room. I ask and was told there was coffee in the lobby all the time. When we left at 6 lobby was locked and lady at the check in window said it would not be open and coffee was made by the manager when he arrived. Our outside door lock was taped on so made me a little uncomfortable.

Clean and quiet

The obvious drug dealing, loud sex and continuous people walking in and out of the room above us all night long.

Easy to reach from I95.

The sheets had blood and hair and dirt or bugs it was hard to tell. It was disgusting!! Pillowcases had blood on as well on both beds😡
