Close to the C Train, Comfortable clean bed, Staff fairly helpful with our luggage

So close to Calgary’s terrible drug scene- very confronting. Also not impressed with the barking dog in the room next door

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

The hotel itself was fine, but the surrounding area felt unsafe due to the presence of many homeless individuals and people appearing to struggle with substance use.

Comfortable bed and spacious room with an early check-in provided. Staff were pleasant and offered a good service.

Little way from downtown

We got upgraded to a King room on 22nd floor with a great view and the room was really comfortable and a good size. Hotel is connected to the Skywalk system which was great because it rained the whole time and the Skywalk meant we could get around without having to go outside much. The on site restaurant (Moxies) is very good and does some good happy hour deals.

Outside in Downtown Calgary is a a little scary. Walking through the Skywalk is much safer and like a different world to outside!

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Very close to the zoo and spark center maybe a 20 minute drive. We used uber and it was really easy for them to park and pick up or drop us off. Pool- warm and big, enough to have kids splashing and playing and others in it at the same time. A nice hot tub too. Hours were basically all day. cleanliness- room was spacious and clean, little table and chairs. I couldn’t find a kids channel on the tv and front desk didn’t know. no bath tub only a shower. we used a room refresh during our three nights stay, they replaced towels made the bed. it would’ve been nice for a recycling and garbage bin empty as well as replenishing coffee stuff, but whenever i called the front desk and asked for more things it would’ve be brought up in less than 15 minutes. front desk staff were very friendly to both me and my son. restaurant- there was a moxies downstairs attached to the hotel. one thing is there is no room service until 11 so for breakfast you go into the restaurant. highly recommend walking the 7 minutes to wafflato for breakfast or lunch, it was much more child friendly and welcoming. ingredients are fresh, amazing specialty coffees and the same price for food as moxies. sound- we stayed up on a very high level floor, and even then could hear sirens and the train. we slept with the fan on and it helped a lot.

The restaurant was very handy as the weather was atrocious. However we discovered the +15 downtown interconnecting walkway on the second day - it’s a pity the staff didn’t point it out or explain what ‘+15’ even was as it’s not in the least bit obvious unless you live in Calgary. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

Our room smelled bad and there were left over items from a previous occupant in a drawer (found whilst searching for the hairdryer).

Close to public transport, very convenient. Good restaurants close by. The staff was accommodating. They gave us free parking because our air conditioning was not working correctly.

Air conditioning unit in our room had to be shut off and on about every two hours. It did not keep up. Their pillows were crap, but it must be known that 95 % of hotel pillows are crap. The parking was tight, parking area littered with garbage and dirt. Very limited space to park for check in and out.

Hotel was visually beautiful but that was it. Jackson at the front desk was INCREDIBLE and the main reason why this ain't a 0 review. First room was ok and everything worked.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. (I was booked more than a month out and still was unable to stay in the same room both nights). You can hear everything in other rooms and the hallways. . Aman, the front desk supervisor, was extremely rude. He cut me off mid sentence, not allowing me to finish my thought when I was just trying to ask a question about signing the disclosure paperwork. He did not cut off the man in front me. Didn't appreciate that at all. Second night room sink didn't drain and TV didn't work. Would be night if there was a water station or water fountain in the lobby for guests. We were booked through a travel agent this was the end of our week long Canada trip and this was by far the worst part of the trip.
