Sandman Hotel Penticton

I was expecting a hotel, but the building is so old and run down. I walked down the dark, poorly marked hallways, walked into the room, looked at the bathroom that hasn’t been updated in probably 50yrs, the room had a damp, old smell, and I had to leave, I couldn’t even put my bag down. I know it’s an old time icon in Penticton, but I was very surprised just how run down it was. It needs an extreme makeover or tear down and build new.

Great pool and affordable price. Nice staff.

Location was good for the reason we were in Penticton. Our company put on a large Holiday Event across at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre every November.

The room had an older type smell to it. Also staying for Business, there should be an separate area for this away from all the sport teams and party goers. No Business discount was offered for the Vendors who stayed there.

All fine. I paid for the cheapest room. 148. The vending and ice machine are there. It was kind of noisy but I slept just fine. The tv did not work. The price was good. You can’t expect 5 star. I’ll be back. Good location.

Was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. Stayed 5 min and checked out immediately. Bed was made but Sheets were not changed on bed and there was hair and food in the sheets. Stains and food on every table surface.
