Good for an overnight stop. Owners very friendly.

We were warmly welcomed - our room in this spacious bungalow was clean and comfortable. Also access to a cosy lounge in the evening to relax in was a bonus. We didn’t mind at all but for some folk they may not like the fact that the bathroom was not en suite , for us this was not a problem at all. The breakfast was amazing! Our hosts went the extra mile for us in order to make our stay memorable

Woodmmeads is a very large bungalow situated in a very quiet residential area of Modbury. We were met at the door by Neil, our host, who also lives at the property,who gave us a warm welcome. Our room was at the rear of the house and was clean , warm and had a en suite with a shower. There is a large lounge for exclusive use of guests with sky TV and a lovely view of a large garden with a fish pond. Overnight there was no noise from outside and after a good nights sleep Neil and his wife Margaret cooked us a lovely breakfast. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and obliging and I would have no hesitation in staying there again, and would fully recommend it for anyone else visiting Devon.
