I liked the architecture of the building and free breakfast

Breakfast eggs were a bit weird but the rest was alright

Shuttle to the airport was good. Breakfast looked okay but it was just opening when we had to leave for our flight.

The shower didn't work; the guy at the desk didn't give much response when told about it. The promotional material I read before booking said there was a Denny's restaurant next door, but when we checked in we were told it had closed.

It was clean

General indifference at the front desk, beat up rooms, slapped together paint jobs, breakfast was just bad and staff tied to that was too busy yakking on the cell phone, they do just enough to get by and nothing else

It was a good location for what we needed

The bathroom was very small, you had to stand over the toilet to shut the door. The shower head was lower than my head so it doesn’t work for taller people. There were bugs flying around.

Property was very run down and dirty due to things falling apart.

The beds were comfortable

The room had a bad door lock and the door would have to be slammed to close. I reported it to the front desk and was told maintenance would come look at it. A half hour later the front desk employee came up and said maintenance had already gone home. So we had to close the door about 7:30 PM. And the front desk called and said the room below had complained. He was the same person that had been to the room without a solution earlier. Also when I took a shower the next morning it was obvious there was a lot of black mold on the ceiling of the shower/bath stall. I've been staying at La Quinta Inns for twenty plus years and always thought that they were dry clean and well kept. This will definitely be the last time I stay at this particular one.

The staff

The bed was soo old and uncomfortable. The room was dirty so much mold in the bathroom
