The Fontana Hotel

The breakfast was basically cereal, breads, pastries, coffee. It was ok. We actually went next door to the Marriott and paid for a full breakfast. The room was fine. It had definitely been redone in recent years. Beds were comfortable, Hotel its self was clearly older. It was affordable for going to the Indy race but I wouldn't choose to stay there at other times. I had read that it could be loud in the halls and I definitely see how that could have happened. Our door had light coming through around it so it wasn't "sealed off" to block noise. We could hear the door across from us opening and closing often. I think we got lucky there were not any loud groups there for the race near us.

A few things....The hotel was older and in a "sketchy" part of the city. Even our Uber drivers questioned why we chose to stay in that area. I just didn't do enough research on that. The Marriott next door was nicer and when I checked prices for the Marriott (while sitting in the Marriott at breakfast), the rooms were cheaper! I was surprised by this. I'm sure the prices were jacked up for the race when I origianlly booked and paid for it. We Ubered everywhere so ended up spending a few hundred on that. It would have been better to rent a cheap car to get around.... especially for the Indy race as it was very difficult to get an Uber after the race. Room was clean but we did have some ants.

O quarto não tinha um sofá-cama. Na descrição do quarto na plataforma do Booking, era para até seis pessoas. Estávamos em quatro adultos e uma criança que teve que dormir no chão.

Quiet and clean, nice staff.

Breakfast was not worthy of the name - coffee and pastry is not breakfast. Fruit not available on first day, went elsewhere for breakfast both days. Not a good thing if breakfast is to be included in the price. Only one small bar of soap in bathroom. Water tastes terrible; water available in lobby.

Fast check in, clean, and close location

Location was fine.....Variety was lacking compared to other hotels that we have stayed at recently.

No hot food unless you count hot cereal with lukewarm water......
