Bathroom kind of dirty

The breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable.

How it seemed like a hike just to get to my room. The floor in the room was disgustingly gross. There was so much water damage in the bathroom the door was splitting. It needs new mattress. That one makes you roll the second you lay down. There is a language barrier between front desk clerk and customer. The pictures are very deceiving. The building isn’t this nice. It’s years and years old. Vagrants are around.

This was a very disappointing experience. Checkin and checkout was okay, not friendly but not rude. I had to park in what looked like an ally. The hallway was very dim and would be very hard for someone with mobility issues to walk down/up. The hotel and room were extremely dated and in poor quality from the floor to carpets, the peeling and crumbling walls, the soft surface furniture were stained, the metal box bed frame sounded like the bed was about to fall to the floor if I barely moved, lighting was rusted and poorly lit the room, linens were thin and worn, doors did not shut properly and parking lot was poorly lit and in poor condition. As a solo female, I did not feel safe and secure for myself or my vehicle. Looking back, I questioned why I stayed, which was a mistake. The breakfast was terrible - the eggs were a sandy gritty texture, the sausage patty was soaked in grease, and my biscuit was so dry and stale it cracked apart when I sawed it with my knife. I threw it away and found breakfast elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this hotel. For the price, I do not expect much but I do expect basic and essential services to be exist. I had it reserved for my return drive and canceled it.
