La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Kansas City Lenexa

Pool was shut down by the health department and never opened back up even after having 2 employees tell us it would. Rooms were not clean

The best part the room was the space and the bath tub! Thank you!!

Breakfast has pretty good options - sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancake maker, yogurt, cereal options, bread/pastries. The microwave worked. The room itself was clean, the shower wasn’t bad, it’s a big room and I like that the sink it’s outside of the toilet and shower. There are a ton of outlets. And a lot of different doors you can enter in with your keycard to park closer to your room.

It is okay for the price, but I still had a lot of issues with this hotel and would not stay again. The staff is not very friendly. They would not give me a receipt of any kind because I booked with booking. The heater is very loud. It was a reprieve when it would turn off 50% of the time. I kept turning the temp down to try and get it to turn on less and the room was kind of muggy in the first place. The walls are paper thin. I can hear conversations from other rooms, anytime someone is even walking in the hallway, and there was a dog staying above me that I could hear it scurrying around every morning at 7am. The bed is not super comfy and the pillows are all terrible. Housekeeping didn’t make the bed. The fridge didn’t work. Don’t expect a lot, I would recommend spending more money and getting a better hotel.

Paid for a upgraded room . They provided no bedding for pull out. When asked for some they said there was none. Was not clean.
