La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Amarillo Mid-City

We liked the location right off the highway and lots to eat nearby

The rooms were kind of dirty. When we got our room the smoke detector was off the wall sitting on the bedside table, the floors were kind like slimy and sticky just felt kind of dirty.

There was clear evidence of water damage in the bathroom. As well as the towel rack being damaged. Surfaces were covered in dust. Floors felt slimy or greasy

The room was nice clean and cool. It was modern with a smart TV which was nice.

We reserved a king suite which they only have on the second floor but this facility does not have an elevator and no where does it say that so we ended up down grading to a double queen room which we could get a wheelchair to but they did not give us any mo ey back we still paid the full king suite price for the small room.

Nothing.

Old and run down. Lots of patches on wall and bathroom smelled like cat pee. Location of hotel not in a good area of town.

Easy access from highway

Property needs an update. Lobby was a little shabby.

Our rooms were dirty, bugs on the floors, black and yellow stains on the covers, the shower leaked everywhere, smelled like mold/mildew, the floors tiles were coming up, not worth the price, when we went to the front to get a refund we were told we had to contact the manager which was not there, emailed manager still waiting on a response to get our monies back, we had to go elsewhere, would never recommend to anyone, not worth the $265 plus per room we still have a hold on in our bank account.
