Best Western Northwest Indiana Inn

Lots of choice but the big let down was the food just wasn’t kept hot enough the potato cubes and the sausages just were warm at best the potatoes actually were cold. Need better/fresher food. Flavour actually was good 👍 the fresh pancakes and fruit and cereals were much better! The actual quality was one of the best I’ve tasted in a hotel just let down by the temperature of the food the coffee and juices were a good standard but a 7/10 could have been 9/10 if food kept hotter.

The bathroom door didn’t close properly and the big issue was the electric sockets in the room quite a few didn’t work ! Imagine the scene one minute I’m watching Inglorious Basterds’! The next minute I’m microwaving pizza!’ Then switching over and watching the film again !! Which didn’t take long but still a bit annoying!!

Quiet

They said check out is at 12 at 11:15 there was an employee pounding on the door asking if we were staying another night. It was very rude loud and unsettling. Leaving on the first floor to the exit three cleaning karts in the way and a mop just chilling in the bathroom all unattended seems they might be understaffed.

Clean

This was just a stop over hotel before heading to Chicago airport in the morning. It's about 50 mins from the airport. There's a walmart supercenter next door, which was great for our last-minute buys before heading back to the UK, and checkout is 12 pm. So, there is plenty of time for breakfast, shopping, and then packing! Breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, muffins, cereal, yogurt, bagels etc etc. Coffee, juices, almond milk. Check-in staff were lovely too.

Nothing really, was great for what we needed.

No road noise. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast selections.
