Loved the authentic Japanese house. The host was very accommodating.

A beautiful location opposite the castle but quite a distance from train station and taxi drivers did not understand the address.

True to the photos - a special experience to stay in a wooden house during winter and fully equipped for cooking, laundry and social. And there’s fruit trees outside the main door. Near city centre. Comes with parking opposite the property.

Not a dislike but suggestions to improve: head bummer/cushion/warning on low beams, more lighting between toilet basin and bunk bed area and a thicker blind at the backyard door for more privacy.

Nice big place, good location and space for everyone. Isolated from the other rental place beside.

Very close to a road that is on a small hill, just means more traffic noise from cars. Bunk beds were comfortable but so loud. Everyone would wake up when someone had to get down in the night. Lastly there is a wooden beam right above where you stand at the bathroom sink. We nailed our heads on it a few times. 5'10" and under I think are safe.
