Park Hotel Paradiso

Camera non pulita e tv non funzionante, che per un hotel a 4 stelle, è terrificante.

La posizione perché irraggiungibile seguendo le indicazioni (= indirizzo e recapito telefonico) presenti su Booking.

Location is great and employees always with a smile greeting you...

Breakfast is very basic. Some pre-packed biscuits opened and offered. A scone and some jam; at times not even honey offered and Nutella and absolute 'NO' except for the owners children!!! What was described as fresh orange juice, it was certainly pre-packed juices full of sugar and you could taste the difference! To end it all ordering a cappuccino/ cafe latte; first 2 days they were perfect but last 2 days it was like a pool of diluted coffee, left untouched!!! Lunch experience, a total disaster! We had just arrived and we were hungry so decided to eat there. We asked for A La Carte but told us they will fix antipasti ... Okay get the Antipasti, preserved stuff that only God knows how old it was... one of each served on a small plate and some canned black olives. Next plate ... pasta 2 types ... one was good and cooked to perfection, but the other was like a dirty diaper. Pasta = Italian Cuisine = Al Dente ?!!! Not even near... The wine offered... apparently what I thought was a sealed bottle on the table was already open. Further looking into the bottle you could notice that this bottle has been refilled due to old and dry visible wine stains! Well we skipped 2nd plate being the meat or even dessert. At least the bread offered was good, but make sure to take your own condiments, as the car engine oil tastes much better and white vinegar ??? Asking to use the indoor pool, we were looking forward to get our little one to swim a bit. Pool can only be used Monday to Saturday between 10:00 till 12:00 & 17:00 - 19:00 and Sundays all day. We waited eagerly till it was 10:00 and went to the pool. Prior to this the 4 star hotel does not offer a bath- robe, unless you pay €5 not refundable deposit on each. We got 2, but were never offered indoor hotel shoes, of which normally both a bath-robe and indoor hotel shoes are offered at 3 star hotels.

Das war vor vielen Jahren sicher ein sehr schönes Hotel. Jetzt ist es sehr abgenutzt und insgesamt renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück bestand aus Croissants, Kuchen und Kaffee, da hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet und auf unserer Rundreise auch erlebt. Das Haus liegt unmittelbar neben einer Hochstraße und etwa 1,5km von Piazza Armerina entfernt. Dort gibt es zahlreiche gute Restaurants.

the location was good but as a hotel it was really poor. breakfast was a disaster and to stay at the pool you have to pay 3 euro unbelievable. if you are a resident there I won’t pretend to pay

The staff were flexible, helpful and friendly. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little tired and probably no longer 4* and the Blue pool in the picture was sadly empty and abandoned. There was however an indoor pool. We had two evening meals which were varied and regional.

Grande reception con divani e giochi vari disponibili ( biliardi, biliardino ecc), ristorante per pranzi e matrimoni. Camera datata che abbisogna di ristrutturazione, soprattutto nel bagno.Comodo parcheggio.

Esperienza tremenda un hotel in condizioni pietose . Intanto per potere avere una Camera abbiamo aspettato quasi 4 ore per poi avere un buco di camera 2 metri x 2 con servizio fatiscente. Per non parlare del buffet a colazione dove mancava di tutto dal latte al caffè. Esperienza da NON RIPETERE ASSOLUTAMENTE!
