Quality Inn Atlantic Beach-Mayo Clinic Jax Area

I like the seating in the room. The space was nice for the 2 beds. The breakfast could be better in terms of the eggs.

The staff was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool was very nice and the rooms were very clean. This is my second time staying at the same location. I would definitely go here again while traveling.

The only thing I didn't like is I arrived too late in the day to really enjoy the area and the amenities on site. However the first time I stayed there I was able to enjoy the pool and listen to the karaoke.

We loved the pub and bartender. When she found out we were celebrating my deceased son's 1st birthday after he passed, he would have been 24, she gave her condolences and made sure we had a good time. The room was spacious and clean. The location was great for what we wanted to do. We went to Savannah GA 1 day and then to Daytona Beach the next. It made it easy for us to go both places. We left feeling so relieved and rested it was great. I was dreading this weekend and it turned out tremendously.

I did not like the fact that they only had 2 towels in the room. When we asked for an additional towel because I use 2 1 for my hair and 1 for my body and my husband needed 1. The front desk guy gave my husband a hard time about it and said that is all that is allowed is 2 towels. So when I checked out he asked how our stay was. I told him that whoever worked the desk the night before was rude about the towels to my husband he told me it was him and he began to give me a hard time. I explained to him when the housekeeper did his/her job that the didn't leave fresh hand towels or floor towel. Never apologized and said he will check the records for it. Basically accusing me of lying when I had no reason to.

Got what you paid for...would go back but wouldn't expect too much. Close to beach!

The pool is very clean, and the hotel is well kept.

When we first went into the room the air conditioner was set on the "Dry" mode, and it smelled musty. Once we turned on the Cool mode, it got better. I think the filter needed to be changed.
