Grosses Zimmer nach dem 2. Anlauf auch einigermaßen elegant - Sehr bemühtes, freundliches Rezeptionsteam. Gute Pflegeprodukte, tolles Altes Haus mit schönem Entré... und gute Lage zur Innenalster.

Zimmergestaltung leider sehr ungeschickt. Bad nachts entweder stockdunkel oder megahell - kein Nachtlicht möglich, Lichtschalter im Raum sehr unsortiert - nicht intuitiv. Zimmer groß aber nicht cosy - Woran mache ich das fest?: unsere Referenzen sind Das Tortue und Nikolai - beides Suiten beides sehr "cosy" ... Beides ähnliche Preislage... Frühstück: alles Da aber leider winzige Tische und leider nur wenig verschiedene Brotsorten - müsli selber mixen - aber Basis wie z.B. Birchler fehlt ... man kann Jogurt und Quark mixen ...

Die Ausstattung im Fraser Suites Hamburg ist wie immer top: modernes Gym, Sauna und sehr komfortable Zimmer. Dank der zentralen Lage und dem zuvorkommenden Personal bleibt das Hotel meine ersten Wahl in Hamburg.

Das Hotel im ganzen. Der Eingangsbereich haut einen schon um, die alte Finanzdirektion die sich in dem Gebäude befand sieht man und spürt man noch heute. Tolle Höhe Decken,Pompös einfach ein WOW Effekt. Tolles Frühstück,sehr nettes Personal,auch bei geöffneten Fenster konnten wir Zentral in Ruhe schlafen.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Hotel doskonale usytuowany w ścisłym centrum miasta. Pokoje były przestronne, czyste i bardzo wygodne. Śniadania bardzo dobre, a personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Hotel godny polecenia.

We stayed 4 nights at Fraser Suites Hamburg as a couple in May 2026. Having previously stayed at virtually every 5-star hotel in Hamburg — The Fontenay, Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten, The Westin at Elbphilharmonie, Atlantic Hotel Kempinski, Side Design Hotel and others — we feel well placed to compare. The hotel occupies a stunning historic tax authority building, and the rooms are well-appointed with excellent storage, including a separate walk-in wardrobe. Front desk staff were friendly, competent and helpful throughout. That said, a few things fell short. The lobby is smaller and darker than photos suggest, and the breakfast restaurant lacks natural light, tucked away in the building's interior. We skipped the hotel breakfast and instead enjoyed excellent nearby alternatives — Nord Coast Coffee and Marshall Street Coffee are both within easy walking distance and highly recommended. Our main gripe: the bed was on the firm side and the down pillows were heavy and dense — sleep quality suffered as a result. On the plus side, the location is outstanding: perfectly placed between HafenCity and the Neuer Wall shopping district, steps from Rödingsmarkt station. A genuinely lovely hotel in a remarkable building — but compared to Hamburg's true 5-star offerings, it sits comfortably at 4 stars.

Die Lage ist ganz okay. Das Hotel macht optisch schon was her.

Personal bei Anmeldung unfreundlich. Frühstück: nichts besonderes, Personal nicht aufmerksam und schlecht organisiert.
