Comfort Suites San Antonio Airport North

The location was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It wasn’t too hard to get to from the event we were attending. The price per night was reasonable.

The rooms were musty and damp. There was a moisture absorbing canister full of water above the closet. There was a small roach in the bathroom. Housekeeping was not attentive to details such as used tea and coffee packages still in the basket, not replaced. There was also a plastic bag taped over the smoke alarm.

The breakfast was decent. There was no sugar free condiments and the microwave there did not work so you could not warm up your food.

The customer service was unacceptable. The front desk clerk was not knowledgeable, did not explain the policy well, and when asked questions about the deposit policy became argumentative. I called multiple times that day to confirm my room and nobody ever answered. I asked the clerk and he said they dont answer the phone. They don't accept cash deposits so you must pay it with your card. This is the only hotel I know of that does that. I would not recommend this hotel and already have told people I know not to stay here.

Dirty, first room didn’t have functioning ac and workers were still working on unit. Bed sheets were stained. Visible repairs made

Room was infested with roaches, shower area was filthy, a dirty sock was found on the floor, crumbs were on the carpet next to the bed, a sticky spot on the carpet, window did not have curtains that closed, no soft drinks were available, no vending machines and the water in the pool was a cloudy green color!
