Swissotel Chicago

I had a fantastic stay at the Swissôtel Chicago and would happily recommend it to both business and leisure travellers. The location is outstanding—right on the Chicago River and just steps from Michigan Avenue—making it easy to get around the city while enjoying great views. The rooms are spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer impressive views of the skyline and Lake Michigan. Service throughout the hotel was consistently professional and welcoming. The staff were attentive, efficient, and genuinely keen to help, whether at reception or around the property. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled quickly. The hotel facilities are well maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort and productivity. Overall, Swissôtel Chicago delivers a high-quality, polished experience that reflects its reputation. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Chicago.

Favorite place to stay for business and conferences in Chicago. Great location. Not too big and everything you need to be comfortable and productive. Staff were awesome, especially Simona and Emina at the front desk. Love having The Palm delivered to my room after a long day.

I feel like the only way to describe the hotel experience is "sensational" First impressions in hospitality are important, and Simona on the front desk, took it to a different level. Engaging, professional, welcoming, but importantly still maintained her personality (an underappreciated skill within hospitality), sharing her Commonwealth spirit! The room was wonderful, clean, high quality, with the most powerful shower (certainly woke me up...!) I've experienced. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view was breathtaking - surely one of the best views of Chicago/Lake Michigan in the City. The bar food at Amuse was a pleasant surprise (I don't always have high expectations for bar food, but this was restaurant quality), and the bar staff (I missed their names, but I did encounter 4 of them!) were all excellent at their jobs. Truth be told, every member of staff I met had the "stereotypical" American skill at excellent customer service, but they were also - crucially - unique and genuine. I'd love to come back to Chicago, and the Swissotel would be my hotel of choice - I've no reason to look elsewhere.
