Clarion Inn Near China Lake Naval Station

I’m in town every week for work and the Clarion Inn is my consistent go-to. It’s exactly what you want in a hotel: clean, reliable, and fairly priced. Nick at the front desk is fantastic and always makes my Monday check-ins a breeze. I also love the free breakfast and having an on-site bar and restaurant. While there are newer spots nearby charging over $200 a night, I just can’t justify the price when the Clarion provides everything I need for a much better value. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Aside from the phone not working in the room and the internet login process one of the worst experiences I’ve get had everything else was great. I do miss the restaurant though.

Easy parking

This is a quick stop need to rest place, with breakfast. The room was pretty much clean and neat. However the walls had weird holes in them and weird paint patches. Also the doora weather stripping needs to be repalced, you can awkwardly see through to the outside. The AC was great, the TV gudie doesnt work, kitchenette applicanaces were fine. Breakfast is at the restaurant and its ok. We had eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles. They had fresh individual milk for cereal. Standard pastries, muffins and toast. No hot ceral but you could order it at the restaurant. Good coffee creamers. Standard juices. The ladies made it clear you couldnt take any food back to your room, so that was inconvenient for us but maybe not to others. When we checked in, the host was blasting music and appeared to be on a date with a girl on the couch. I didnt care until i realized he was trying to rush us out and didnt give us any direction or basic assistance about our room, wifi, where breakfast would be located or anything. The worsr part were the visible mouse traps in the hall way. I didnt see these until check out.

Nice place, great staff, unfortunately pool wasn’t clean and room not very quiet. Nice breakfast and the restaurant is also good for dinner.

The folks at the clarion in Ridgecrest hosted me for over a month while my house was being renovated and even tho they must’ve gotten tired of seeing me they always greeted me with a smile and hello every morning.. the housekeepers always made sure I had clean towels and the bartender always made perfect cocktails.. I give them 5 outa five stars and will always recommend the motel to all my friends.. keep up the good work

The place is incredibly beat up and old. Not clean, front desk staff did not report issue to maintenance but said they did. Smoke alarm went off during shower. There must be better places in Ridgecrest. Do not stay here.

Staff were friendly and tried to help The floor in room 114 was very dirty The beds were comfy, we asked for linens because we only had 1 washcloth and towel The hot tub was same temp as the pool and the whole area needed cleaning We have stayed here for years when it was the Carrige Inn and have fun memories but may stay at another hotel next visit to Ridgecrest

I came to visit my son in Ridgecrest. I was so excited about coming to my grandson’s graduation at the end of May. I forgot my purse! The lady at the front desk asked if I had my id on my phone, or if someone could send it to me from home. The lady was very patient and worked with me. Didn’t just turn me away because I forgot my purse the barbecue pad in the pool area and all the tables made a wonderful experience for my grandson‘s graduation party. It was something small but very meaningful to him. I’m going back again in a few months! The rooms were super clean, it was not a bother to ask for more towels since we forgot our own pool towels. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. It wasn’t just a bag with a few things in it. There were choices as my son is a diabetic. Just all over very wonderful experience!!
