Castle Motel

The site had amble parking and the rooms were quaint and clean. A lot of light options were provided with side lamps bed lamps. Overall. not a bad place to stay at. Would stay okay if the opportunity rises.

It was a little bit over charged for the price compared to other places I have stayed at. But I needed the room, they accommodated thus overall not too bad. However, the site showed they only had one room available at that price, although the motel was not booked out.

Excellent location. A five minute walk from the centre of Castlemaine.

We often stay here while visiting my parents. Large comfortable room with the usual facilities Shower was v hot in the evening but cold by morning .

Cold shower in morning Front rooms can be noisy so request back rooms

Not really my sort of place to stay Bed was not comfortable . Didn’t think it was value for money

The room looked nice and location was good

There was a terrible smell of sewage. Although it looked clean the smell was very off putting.there was no air freshener available either.we slept with the toilet and bathroom door shut. We couldn’t leave because it was a long weekend and all other places within our price range were booked out. Also we ate takeaway and there were insufficient crockery and cutlery. We got some from the office but they were not very clean
