3rd generation farmers - such amazing people, makes you proud to be South African. Beautiful jewel looking onto the majestic Swartberg mountain. Peacefully relaxing, birds and nature all around. One of our favourites. We are returning with our whole family

Tranquility serenaty and authenticity is what we found. Juan and Lischen was the perfect hosts. The location is perfect for a visit of the Cango caves and Swartberg Pass area. The beautifully restored old farmhouse with its 12 foot ceilings and original wood finishes was the perfect home away from home. I believe this must be the best accommodation in the area outright and value for money

There was nothing not to like in this beuatiful place.

We loved the tranquility and quietness of the area. The hosts and staff are super friendly and helpful. One just has to ask and they provide. The absolute highlight for me was the complete absence of a television.

There is nothing not to like.

Liked EVERYTHING! Lieschen and Juan were wonderful hosts and made us feel totally welcome. Having arrived, we didn’t want to drive again so pre-booked with them a delicious lasagne and salad and also took them up on their offer of breakfast… equally good. The family suite was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchenette and lighting was provided in case of power shedding. Very pretty garden and lovely mountain view with the most spectacular sunset I have seen in a long time. Friendly staff and nice dogs.

Nothing! But if you would rather not travel on gravel roads (although it is a very impressive scenic drive) and are coming from the Swellendam direction, it is longer but faster and all tar to come via Oudtshoorn.
