Staff were friendly. They'd also clearly put effort into creating a reasonable room with new ensuite.

I was there on a Saturday night. There was a private event on at the back with ( bad) singing so loud I couldn't hear anything else eg the Netflix I was trying to watch on my laptop on my lap). It finished by 10, fortunately, but the jocularity went on for another hour and a half. I asked for a move to a room facing away but there were no spare rooms. At $190 for the night, I was more than disappointed.

Convenient location, authentic , brilliant bar attendant and atmosphere.

A bit tired but it’s perhaps bring more character if you like it . Bistro staff could be a bit more welcoming and helpful
