Butterfly Verona

Absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly helpful. The place was super clean and every little detail was thought about. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it.

It was a pity we only had one night's stay in these wonderful rooms. Be sure to understand that this is not an hotel; but it is a lovely place to stay. You sign a tenancy agreement when you arrive and need to find your own meals. However, you will get a very warm and comprehensive welcome (from Constantine in our case) before being ushered into your enchanting room. One wall of the high ceilinged room had a well done floral mural. The quality of paint and materials was first class all round. Our bedroom had a bath in it and very nice it was to use too. The en-suite bathroom was well equipped, including a shower, with good high quality towels, robes and bed linen. In addition, a small fridge was well stocked with complimentary soft drinks, some delicious locally handmade biscuits were available as well as a complimentary bottle of wine, thanks to Mr & Mrs Smith, through whom we had made our booking. All the furniture and fittings in our room were well made and well done. We enjoyed a very good nights sleep, despite being located close to the centre of town. We do not eat much for breakfast so were able to stock up with supplies at a nearby Aldi and enjoyed our own breakfast in our bedroom. The whole place was very clean and tidy, clearly well kept. We were directed to park our car at the nearby underground car park at the Cittaddella, no fuss and secure for the night. You can park temporarily right outside the entrance to Butterfly to unload the car. Luckily we enjoyed briefly meeting Matteo and Laura as we departed. We wish them well. Butterfly Verona is a wonderful place to stay and to use as a base to visit the city. We can happily recommend it.

A very warm welcome from the owner Matteo and he is rightly proud of the excellent business he has built. Very comfortable and just a few minutes walk from the arena and city centre. Room only but lots of drinks and snacks provided as part of the deal. We will be returning next year.

Nice property in the city center. There is everything what you need for comfortable stay. Even 5* hotels do not offer so much small things and excellent quality equipment as Butterfly. Polite and friendly hosts. Help with excellent suggestion for dinner and made reservations for us. Close to Butterfly is nice places for breakfast.

Everything! Quiet, great location and very helpful staff! They were communicative before and during our stay. They helped secure a driver on our arrival into Verona. With delayed flight and trains they made sure we had a driver at 10 pm instead of original 8am. Excellent staff. They provided restaurant recommendations! And secured our taxi on departure.

We absolutely loved the Butterfly hotel! We stayed for 2 nights and would recommend to everyone. We had a personalised check-in with Constantine who didn’t miss a single detail and showed a genuine love and passion for everything the hotel supplied for its guests. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable and peaceful. All the little details from the shower gels, to the tea bags, paintings, biscuits all have a story as to why they are there and make your stay a little more special. The room doesn’t miss a beat either with a great coffee machine, high end kettle and tea bags, which although seems minimal makes the morning that bit more pleasant. We met owners Gian and Laura who were so lovely. They had great recommendations for everything we wanted to do and make you feel so welcome to the hotel. We even wanted to change a reservation time and they went to the hotel in person to try and do so! The WhatsApp system works great as links for reservations can be sent immediately. Location is also fantastic. It is a 5-10 min walk from the arena from where you can get anywhere! Definite 5* and we hope we will be back in Verona soon to stay at the Butterfly again! Thank you.

The only minor suggestion would be the availability of extra water during the night; perhaps a water cooler in the hallway could be a nice addition, but this is really just a small detail in an otherwise flawless stay.
