The spa was amazing!

I booked this experience for my neice's 13th birthday, as my father has just passed away one month ago. From the time we arrived in our room, the question of cleanliness immediately became a problem. I had staff come take a look at the room and pointed out things, including a rusty drain in the bathtub that was so bad, I couldn't let my girls take baths. The hotel seemed to have several bandaids applied to cover the actual age and damage to hotel including door handles missing from the door to the pool, the fowl smell of the water, and general cleanliness of hotel room. (I wouldn't even allow us to walk around room shoeless). While I understand being short-staffed, I paid quite a bit for our stay and expected better quality. I am NOT leaving this as a review bc I realize the detriment that could cause. However, I am going to share some photos of our room. The gum left in the table, dirty/used strawberries beside bed, and basic wipe down of countertops and sinks, and dirty glasses have been the most concerning for me..

We booked through TripAdvisor which said ALL fees included. At check-in we were convinced to upgrade our room for 20$. When I asked if there were any other fees, Alex told me “No”. The resort is beautiful but we literally just slept there for the night. We discussed coming back in warmer weather for a family vacation, but when we checked out they charged us a resort fee of $40. Yes, it’s only 40$ but we specifically asked when checking in and so it really leaves you in a bad mood when you leave. The front desk was also pretty rude about it. Return for a big family vacation? Nope. Hilton, I expect honesty and integrity, not this.

It is beautiful

This was a weekend business trip with beautiful scenery. My coworkers and I were pleased to bring family too, to enjoy all the it had to offer. The workshops and meetings were all on the premises. It was a pleasure.

The location was great

Being a Hilton member I was not able to add the reward points as I did my reservation through booking.com

The hotel itself is nice and clean, they had christmas decor and music which gives holiday vibes. But despite telling the front desk couple of times we came back after a whole day to a dirty room and had to call housekeeping to get fresh towels and clean trash. Its the second time this has happened to us in a hilton property that if we wanted housekeeping later in the day ot was not done. Also we were not impressed with the breakfast buffet. The omelet station was good but had only one person managing both omelet and waffle which means long waiting time. We had to wait a long time fod server to come and take an order for coffee and drinks. It would be better if they put water, juice and coffee out with the buffet since they do not have enough servers. The hashbrowns were tasty but cold and bagels were stale and hard. I am glad that our breakfast was included with the room because I would not have been happy to pay for that buffet.

This room was spectacular. The beach view and balcony was great. The bathroom was huge with a jetted tub and separate stand up shower. Has a microwave, frig and safe.
