Mudbrick Cottages

The cottage was so beautiful and quaint. I loved the breathtaking views that surrounded us. Even though it was very cold, the cottage was lovely and warm. Thank you to hosts for the bottle of champagne that was in fridge. It certainly went down well.

The only thing I will add here is, transport from the cottage back to the ferry terminal. We didn't know how to book a taxi. We walked with our suitcases in the rain to the restaurant, thinking we could get a coffee and sadly found that it was closed. Unfortunately, we waited for the taxi in the rain.

Beautiful cottage, wonderfully decorated and made. Beautiful location, with easy and convenient check in/out. The restaurant was delicious and decadent, with fantastic efficient staff, I would highly recommend this stay!

The breakfast were disappointing. Dried bread and only apricot jam each morning with cheap muesli and instant coffee. I had to call reception 4 four times during our 2 day stay as only two breakfast were sent, towels only for 2 were replaced and the fourth time after in the am after a late night wedding the milk jug had not been filled.

The location was stunning and the cottage was perfect
