Friendly and welcoming owners. Lovely house and room great facilities great location

Not having an en-suite, although my personal bathroom was just opposite my room.

EVERYTHING! From our first meeting to leaving. Owners were fantastic, location fantastic, room was amazing so clean and had all the comforts of home from pillow sprays, body lotion/hand cream, water in the room with all tea/coffee making facilities, Mints, the list goes on and on. You’ll find it hard to beat this place. Only a couple of minutes from the ferry and then having the privilege to tour Harris was a dream. So in short, I highly recommend this guest house. Oh and the breakfast was fabby to. Oh and not forgetting the very friendly chickens, horses, dogs and Dusty!

If I could write anything I wish we’d of stayed longer but unfortunately it was booked up, no surprise there! There is nothing at all. Now only for a laugh - lemonade, Elly will know 😂

Beautiful property. Absolutely loved staying here. Location was amazing. The hosts Elly and Andy are such lovely people and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Great breakfast menu and also very delicious. Loved my room , wish I could have stayed longer. If I get the chance, I definitely would love to stay again .

Loved the hosts, the food, the care, the attention….. and…. particularly loved the lovely large shared guest lounge room, where we were able to meet with other guests (only if we wanted to) and exchange stories and experiences - not to forget that we were supplied a good guitar which we were able to use to sing songs and enjoy music with the others.

The grumpy b######d owner who didn’t appreciate my music…. JOKING ! We’ve thought about it and simply cannot think of anything that could be done better. We do so hope this venture does well for these delightful owners too..

Lovely guest house on the outskirts of Tarbert, so convenient for our motorbike tour of the outer Hebrides. Stunning location and beautifully presented property. Andy and Elly were really friendly and welcoming, inviting us to enjoy some home baked scones and tea when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable with a private bathroom across the hallway. The communal lounge was homey and allowed for stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We appreciated all the thoughtful extras (homemade biscuits, chocolates, good quality toiletries, charging cable etc) and were grateful of the packed breakfast supplied as we had to catch an early ferry the following morning.

Slightly above our normal budget, but the service we received couldn't be faulted. Thank you!
