Hotel Casa Adolfo Ischia

Absolutely brilliant stay at Casa Adolfo. We loved every second. Perfect location, a few steps to climb, but that's how you get the knockout view of St Angelo. The owner picked us up from the bus stop (which is closer by) when we arrived, which was a nice touch. We arrived late and the pool was closed so he kindly offered to open it up for an hour for us which was so nice. Rooms are lovely, comfy beds, and power shower! The maids were lovely and kept our room spotless every day. The pool is heated with a built-in jacuzzi with a killer view. I never wanted to get out! The gardens are beautiful with an olive Grove. Lemon trees are throughout the grounds, so we made lemon water every morning. Snack bar on site is good and affordable, and there is a mini mart close by for groceries. Book this hotel, I promise you'll love it as much as we did! There is a lovely little dog and cat on site, too, which are very friendly and added to our stay. Thank you for making my stay in ischia so memorable. Don't forget to get the water taxi from St Angelo to the volcanic beach with hot sand! Bury yourself in it for 15 minutes, and all body pains go for 3 hours! Best experience ever!

The only downfall I thought was the price of the evening meal. You did get 3 courses, but it was €30 which we thought was expensive, so never got it. We just ate in restaurants and got food from the nearby mini mart. The hotel is on a hill, so there is a 5-minute walk up a bank with steps, so if you've issues with walking, you might struggle. It wasn't a problem for us, though, and we didn't mind as we had the best view in St Angelo.

Beautiful surroundings, gardens, lots of loungers, and chairs to rest. The location is excellent as very close to town and bus station. Delicious breakfast, always fresh ingredients, and homemade delicious cakes. We left early in the morning, and we were given sandwiches, fruit, and water for the road. Would definitely stay again if visiting this beautiful island.

Casa Adolfo was great, we had wonderful time there. This place is nicer than in the photos. Do not hesitate to book diners there, food is awesome, every day we were looking forward to dinner. People are nice, everything is clean, pool was warm and pleasant for swimming even in may and is surrounded by nice garden with very nice view and many deckchairs. We had also great view from our room and the terrase.

Walls let through lots of noise Shower not working effectively Charged city tax when this was not in the booking terms (called Booking.com and they confirmed I should not have been charged by them and are investigating).

Great location in the hidden gem part of the island.

Very friendly host. Nice Jacuzzi and a lovely garden. The breakfast was good and the dinner excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay there.
