Antica Dimora dei Nonni

Luca l’hôte d’Antica Dimore dei Nonni a été très attentionné et d’un accueil chaleureux. La chambre très bien agencée, l’emplacement tranquille, draps propres, matelas confortable, déco originale & de bon goût, des bouquins partagent l’histoire et points touristiques de la ville en plus de quelques photos de famille (intéressant et enrichissant). Excellent emplacement, belle vue, la qualité du petit déjeuner by Luca (extra) ! Nous étions en plein été, la climatisation était un plus dans la chambre. Je recommande.

La habitación está muy mal. La puerta del baño no cerraba y el dueño nos trató como si fuéramos tontos diciéndonos que era por nuestra seguridad. El aire acondicionado no funciona según él y puso uno de piso que obliga a tener la ventana abierta , lo que imposibilita cerrar la ventana para dormir y al estar en el centro tiene mucho ruido. El aire nunca bajó de los 26 grados. La cama hace ruido al moverse. La verdad que es imposible descansar. Nos dió opción de otra habitación en la terraza con una escalera complicada y habitación mucho más chica sin vista y que le da todo el sol, por lo tanto mucho más calurosa. El parking es público y no es fácil conseguir. No hay parking en el edificio El desayuno es muy pobre. Yo aclaré que necesitaba opcion sin gluten y tuve que esperar a que vaya a comprarme unas galletitas de vainilla re pobres. El agua y el wifi funcionan bien. La terraza tiene linda vista aunque los muebles allí necesitan un recambio. La ducha no drenaba y se inundaba el baño.

The location was very good to reach the main spots in the old city by foot. The B&B has a nice balcony where you can spend relax time with local wine in the evening even in the hot summer. The owner is very generous and helpful and you can find the solution by asking him questions.

You need to know the difficulty to find the road parking space in the evening on Friday and Saturday near the B&B. But the modern garage parking would be the best choice in such a case even though you need to take a walk for 15 min. The problem of the parking is not limited to the specific B&B, but it is a problem of whole city in Lecce. If we can choose some options for breakfast served by the B&B, it would be far prettier.

Very central location. Loads of character and charm. Original historic architecture and interiors. Large bright comfortable room. Peaceful breakfast on the communal terrace - fresh bread and pastries. Friendly communication with host.

Excellent location in the historic section. Numerous quality trattorias/restaurants close to B&B

Our room was on the top floor. Approximately 40 steep steps to get to room. This room not recommended for quests with mobility issues.

Fabulous location in the centre of Lecce. Good breakfast provided by the host, which was a good start to the day. Host also provided information of things to see and do in Lecce and salento region.

Bathroom door lock was faulty and the shower tray had a tendency to overflow and flood the bathroom floor. Portable air con unit wasn't great.
