Spacious and exceeding well equipped

Have sent a long list of safety and hygiene issues to Margaret River Holiday Homes for action and requested a refund

Location was beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with some essential food items, comfy sofas, games, umbrellas and very effective heating options. A fantastic option for a large family or a group of friends, particularly as neither bathroom was an ensuite. After a busy day exploring, it was so good to come home to a large comfortable space in a peaceful location with friendly locals in the paddock who entertained our guests with their antics.

All pillows were too flat, lots of spiders inside house, power points in unusual places inside bathroom cupboards. Need instructions for appliances like dryer and oven.

Big and spacious

It’s a beautiful house, very spacious, 2 bedrooms upstairs have aircon, super quiet with amazing outlook over the grass (which unfortunately was super dry when we were there). You can see kangaroos in the morning and evening. Nice that a Nespresso and tea and milk for 2 coffees was provided. Pots provided were good stainless steel. Big fridge. Great space to relax. Dishwasher, thank God, in contrast to other places. Cooking oil, salt, pepper was there which we brought but was helpful.

The beds were not that comfortable. We did not find it that clean (my feet were black from the floor). There was a cockroach on the first night (I know they can come in from the outside), fly screens had spider webs inside and outside, there was dried on kangaroo poo on the veranda and spider webs around table and chairs outside on the deck, washing line outside was not working. Pans very super scratched. Location is a bit remote, takes time to get to places and it’s a dirt road to get to which may be good to specify as many car rental companies don’t allow dirt road.

What a lovely property. With Kangaroos and Emus it was fantastic for the kids. A very enjoyable experience which we would happily do again. The house has everything we needed and plenty of space.

Amazing location with true farmhouse experience. We absolutely love the sunrise view with many kangaroos grazing in front of the property during this time. From the property itself, we saw cows grazing about 200-300m away. The accommodation was well equipped with kitchenware, bakeware, glassware, seasoning etc. The bedroom and lounge were comfortable. The woodfire was amazing and they also have a/c with heater. We didn't have to leave the property at all throughout our stay. Suggest bringing plenty of bottled water as the tap water is not for drinking.
