Lovely quiet, comfortable room and delicious food. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was small but ok but it was very hot even though we had a portable fan. We couldn't have windows open as we had the kitchen extractor fan nxt to our window which was also smelly & noisy. We were in Guard Room. We like dogs but there were such a lot in the rooms & restaurant it felt unhygienic. Although the place is a dog friendly accommodation, it was more like Planet of the Dogs. Don't think they should be allowed to be on the chairs & tables.

Excellent stay quiet location comfortable bed with quality bedding. Bathroom with roll top bath and walk-in shower first class coffee machine. Evening meal was very enjoyable

We stayed two nights in the Home Guard room. The bed was comfy and quiet. Breakfast was great and the best poached eggs we’ve ever had. Dinner was great and would highly recommend.

Lovely staff, good food

All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room comfortable, wonderful food and pub/restaurant had a good vibe. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. 😊
