Hotel Lindenhof

Da wir spontan eine Umbuchung akzeptieren mussten, weil unser Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung stand (Gebucht 26.11.2024), kann ich keine Bewertung abgeben.

Das 2 Tage vor der Übernachtung (da hatten wir nach telefonischem Kontakt, die Ersatzunterkunft schon akzeptiert) ein Zimmer auf Booking.com angeboten wurde (Mehrpreis zu unserem Preis von 60 €) und man es uns nicht zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

Das Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und komfortabel

Um neun Uhr war das Frühstücksangebot nicht (mehr?) so gut. Das Rührei hatte angesetzt und der Frühstückspeck dazu war fast auf und bestand aus einigen angebrannten Resten.

Hotel entspricht nicht 4 Sterne Frühstück und Sevice mangelhaft

Breakfast was very good, could maybe do with a bit more fresh fruit or fruit salad but in general really enjoyed it. The staff was very sweet and accomodating from booking confirmations to serving dinner at the attached Indian restaurant. We had a very good time and can recommend this hotel if you would want to be close to the train station and the Ccty centre (10min walk). And while we were originally planning to take the train from Düsseldorf Airport we ended up renting a car (40min ride) and there was ample parking at the hotel for us. So, all in all, good location, nice staff and all well

I advised the staff to check the drains in our room, in my view they need either cleaning, plumbing, severr flushing or otherwise an odour check. We left the bathroom door closed throughout the nights which kept us sleeping safe and sound.
