Santuario Getsemani Hostel

O hostel é muito bem localizado, perto de tudo. As camas são confortáveis e os reservados tem um bom espaço pra guardar nossos pertences.

Achamos o hostel muito barulhento. Tanto barulho externo, por estar localizado numa das ruas principais do bairro Getsemany, quanto barulho interno. O hostel não parece ter política de silêncio e diminuição de luz a noite. Ficamos somente uma noite e não dormimos bem, por isso no dia seguinte nos mudamos para outro hostel. Apesar dos reservados terem luz individual, a luz do quarto fica acesa a noite toda, o que atrapalhou nosso descanso. Também entra e sai de pessoas, falando alto a noite toda. Sei que escolhi um quarto compartilhado e nem todos os hóspedes sabem respeitar o espaço coletivo, mas fica minha dica para que o hostel normatize diminuição do barulho e luz durante a noite, acredito que muitos mais hóspedes recomendariam o lugar. Não voltaríamos a nos hospedar neste lugar.

Los desayunos son muy ricos. Y el aire acondicionado funciona muy bien.

Algunas almohadas tenían cierto olor que no sé si sea fácil de quitar. No sé si era por el uso o humedad.

Literally the only good thing here is the location in the old town, but there are so many better options with even better locations, don't waste your money, health or peace of mind here.

As someone who has travelled around the world and stayed in hundreds of hostels, this has been by far my worst experience ever. There was virtually no cleaning occurring in the 3 days I was here, the same clump of hair, bathing suits, garbage wrappers stayed in the showers all 3 days. The bathroom in our dorm room was out of order due to maintenance work on the water system outside, so we had no choice to all use the communal showers. One night, a girl came back to the dorm room in the middle of the night completely wasted with a guy she hooked up from the club. They proceeded to have loud intercourse in the dorm room with 20 other people around. She would only stop to lean over the side of her bed and throw up all over the floor and other's belongings. I told the overnight receptionist about this, who's only intervention was to come into the room and whisper "excuse me, hello" and then left which obviously did nothing to stop them. After a few minutes, I went back out again and told him it was still happening, and asked if he could at the very least clean the vomit. He did come back and do this, but they continued their relations all night. I complained again to the receptionist the next morning, as this is unacceptable and unsafe behaviour. His response was "if you wanted better service, you should have booked a hotel, this is how hostels work". I can with complete confidence say that this is absolutely false, hostels do not mean compromising your health and safety for having unregistered guests and vomit on the floor and belonging.

El dasayuno es excelente, las cama es comoda, en las instalaciones hay aire acondicionado. Los recepcionistas trabajan muy bien. Hay que mejorar la atención del persnal que contratan en cocina-

La falta de cordialidad de parte del personal que esta en la cocina. No son amables, solicitamos varias veces el favor del ultmo dia dejarnos aunque sea la fruta lista ya que no ibamos a poder estar por media hs en el servicio de desayuno y nos dejaron sin. Son poco amables, y colaborativas.
