Rene's Resort

Rene and Jelou were wonderful hosts and meeting them and their family was definitely the highlight of our trip. They went far beyond our expectations in meeting every request we made, from arranging a car to pick us up from the airport to a delicious seafood barbecue to a trip into town for an impromptu shopping trip. I would highly recommend their modest but very comfortable resort to any travellers and divers.

Quaint ambiance , Stress free Felt like family from the first night 10 steps to the ocean! Food great Can’t do enough for you Clean spacious room Best shower I had in Php!! A fact! Seriously easy, Genuinely there for the traveller! And ya gotta love Snoop dog! Lol And the Host Family!

Nothing to be honest!

The ambiance of the place, the staff and owner of the place were so accommodating,,we feel we are their family too😍😍😍. The place is so peaceful and quiet..a good place for relaxation.

Very nice stay in family atmosphere . This is small place with a dive resort. Rooms are big and comfortable. Food is tasty. Diving and divemaster is great you feel well cared and have all dive spot for yourself. All the staff and people around are super nice and helpful. They truly made our stay magical.

Staff are very nice

We had two wonderful relaxing days here. The room is modern with the best hot shower of our whole trip! Food is good, staff is great (we will never forget your help in getting to our boat in time!) and the snorkeling is absolutely fantastic, right in front of the resort.

No beach (but we knew that when we booked).

Amazing cliffside views over the sea, down-to-earth owners, top notch rooms and delicious food. I booked because the prices were far less than Cabilao but had the same access for diving. Unfortunately I had ear problems (from previous dives in Siquijor) which limited me to one day of diving, but I couldn't hope for a better place to recuperate! The owners gave me medicine and also took me to a doctor in Calape for a checkup. The room was very nice and well maintained with a very clean bathroom, hot water and strong AC. The outside premises are extremely scenic with beautiful views of the sunset from the patio and dining room/ bar. The food is excellent, their pizzas are a must. I often had off-the-menu dinners and lunches with the owners' family, and we would chat afterwards over beer. The real highlight is the quiet and solitude - it's only an hour away from Panglao yet feels like another world. In sum, if you want excellent diving, homestyle food, quiet nights and good company, then this is the place for you!
