St Helens Coastal Resort by Away Resorts

We never used any of the facilities, we arrived late & didn’t meet any staff. I spoke to one lady on the phone who was very friendly & left keys for us on arrival. Sheets/bedding and bathroom were all nice and clean.

Our caravan was very hot, had a funny smell, and bird poo all over the outdoor furniture & balcony. We also expected to have a hot tub/balcony area on the top which the photos show, we never had any of this.

Very clean caravan park with a great little swimming pool on site. The hot tub on the balcony was also great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Caravan for 6 but only had 4 outdoor chairs and table for 4 as did the dinning table. The carpet was very tired and could do with a change.

Very peaceful, caravan had everything needed for a comfortable stay. A nice pub within a five minute walk.

No wi-fi and very poor phone service, could do with a club house.

A lovely welcome and caravan.

Caravan is in need of repairs, rust on all of the radiators and 2 holes on the ensuite doors.

The size and layout of the caravan was nice. Bed comfortable.

This is by far the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. You couldn't pull the sofa bed out as it was saturated in urine and absolutely stank. The toilets too smelt of urine due to the filthy used toilet brush that was sat in a puddle of urine. No matter the wiping and scrubbing the floors were black. Some socks had to be put in the bin due to being stained black. One of the single beds had a blood stain on it. The wifi was atrocious, it categorically did not work. Therefore, a service was not provided. The lack of wifi meant no devices, including the tv, would work. On rainy days and evenings it was miserable. When I asked to move caravan, in order to complete work emails and watch telly. There was no where we could go as the staff are aware the wifi doesn't work. This service should not be advertised especially since staff know it can't be provided.
