Villa Cathedral

Loved the old VA farm look and feel, a true B&B. Bill and Lucy (and Gus!) were the ultimate hosts. You could come and go as you pleased, and the breakfasts and conversations were wonderful. They were very helpful with me in getting to know the area. The only downside was there wasn't a lot of places to put stuff in the bathroom...could use a medicine cabinet or some small piece of furniture (I know, not a lot of room) to put your toiletries, but that is really a nit in the overall pleasantness of my stay and the property.

This place was amazing, beautiful property and so very peaceful. Bill and Lucy were very nice and a joy to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful stay.

Villa Cathedral is a beautiful old Victorian farmhouse that has been extended and updated (beautifully) to accommodate guests. My two children and I stayed there for one night only, and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, quiet and clean. I particularly liked that there was a full kitchen for guests to use. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home with wonderful hosts! Lucy, Bill and Gus couldn't have been nicer people! Only negative was that it is very dark on their street, and we had difficulty locating the driveway in the extreme darkness. Perhaps they could add a lamppost or some reflectors at the edge of their driveway to make it a little safer.

The property is a beautiful house tucked away in the woods, very peaceful and scenic. The rooms are large, very clean, well maintained, and the bed I slept on was very comfortable. The property owners; Bill, Lucy and their wonderful dog Gus, also serve as the staff. They were very welcoming and a pleasure to be around! A great experience and I am definitely planning on staying there again in the future!

They were very accommodating and even the guests I stayed with were also very friendly.

Over all I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, staff extremely friend and loved the text communication. Beautiful view no matter where you stand on the property inside and out!

Lucy, Bill and Gus were all great hosts! The master suite was very large. The breakfast was really good. Bill’s homemade granola was tasty! It’s a wonderful place to get away from it all and to just relax. It’s way out in the country, so there’s not much around to do but rest. We will definitely return.

Very well kept property, very peaceful area, fantastic breakfasts, super nice host and hostess, great location for VIR Raceway.

The owners were very pleasant and the house is beautiful. The breakfasts were very yummy - I would highly recommend this property.
