Crowne Plaza Albuquerque by IHG

I was sorely disappointed in my stay here and I am a long time IHG Honors member. I made my room reservation 10 months in advance for a business trip (with Govt employee discount). I called to modify my reservation five months out (I needed to shorten my stay). They did not modify my stay, my reservation was rebooked at a new rate, an additional $100/Day. The desk clerk told me over the phone that that was their practice and they were heavily booked during that time period. What does that have to do with anything? When I arrived to check-in, the desk clerk was surly and would not honor our tax exempt status. (I had our tax exempt certificate) Their breakfast restaurant was understaffed and we had a poor experience there. We ate breakfast at other locations the other mornings. We outdoor pool was not heated as advertised. The sliding doors to the balcony were filthy.

just the location on the outside was a littrle risky at night so uber everywhere, wouldnt walk outside often

Front desk staff at night, were not the most helpful.. We went down for Balloon Fiesta, which meant a very early wakeup call, Friday night they had a band playing till 9:30, kind of late when the majority of the guest were there for Balloon Fiesta amd were probably getting up at 3:00 a.m.

It was wonderful.
