Guesthouse Libeticus

the lady that showed us in was lovely and really helpful with local recommendations to make the most of our short stay. Ideal location between the beach, bus stop and supermarket and the other direction into town. The communal lounge / eating area / fridge / kettle / microwave was really useful and everywhere was very clean. The balcony way a lovely addition and the room was ideal for us.

Väldigt rent och fint boende. Superläge: nära till supermarket, kollektivtrafik och strand, lugnt område. Vår värd Benito var väldigt hjälpsam och lätt att ha kontakt med dygnet runt. Skulle definitivt rekommendera!

I didn't have breakfast but there were tea and coffee making facilities. Water bottles were replaced every day and mugs were always clean.

Not staying for longer!

Cosy apartment with 2 interconnecting rooms, spacious bathroom/shower and a small kitchenette plus a yard which was great for my smoking wife. Area was nice and quiet and just 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and bus stop to the city centre. Everything was very clean and wifi was fast. I must also say a few words of appreciation to our host Danilo who welcomed us on our first day and explained the major attractions as well as the bus numbers to take and some other details like good restaurants in the vicinity. Check in and Check out were also nice and easy.

Only drawback was that were not too many restaurants/attractions around the area and we were without a car and with children but this has nothing to do with the apartment itself; I'm just mentioning it as a heads up to recommend hiring a car if staying in this area.

Everything was clean and pretty, just like in the pictures. Danilo was a great host, providing amazing insights about what to sightsee and how to get there. The terrace was so nice, as was the Lavazza coffee. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely stay at Libeticus if I ever go to Cagliari again.

The room and common places were spotless: never seen such a clean and tidy room and facilities! Also, all the facilities are new and of good quality. It is very calm, you do not hear cars and do not get disturbed. The appartment is perfectly located: Villasimus is within 1,5 hour by bus, the beach Poetto is only within 20min walk and Cagliari's center is reachable within 20 min by bus. Also Danilo provides bicycles so you access the natural reserve located within 5min. Danilo took time to explain us all the good things to do in Cagliari, where to eat, and where to buy pastries, this was very pleasant and appreciated. FInally, Danilo provided a solution to leave our luggage the whole day in the facility, so we had time to swim during the day and take our flight in the evening!

Nothing. Some walls/doors are made from glass-like material, so you can hear other people at time. We did not get annoyed though.

The Guesthouse is located in close proximity to the Poetto Beach - which is a must to visit during a trip to Cagliari. It is also very convenient to reach the city centre - as there are multiple bus lines nearby. The owners - Danilo & Simona - were truly helpful with all tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. We were advised what places to see, where to try traditional Sardinian cuisine and how to get to multiple destinations. It is obvious that they love being around the guests, always more than happy to help. Their breakfasts were also amazing - everything was fresh, delicious, with a lot of options to choose from. I will definitely recommend Libeticus to other friends of mine once they travel to Cagliari :)
