"Poor service at front desk"

Upon my first time arriving at the hotel I received extremely poor service at front desk from the 2 receptionists. The rooms were fairly nice, as well as clean. The location is fair. The hotel is only a few Minutes away from NRG stadium and memorial Hermann hospital.

When: Over Christmas Area: Not a great area Check-In: Not that Friendly First impression of room: Large - Nothing Special View From Room: No real view Cleanliness: Could have more detail Amenities: Stove, Fridge (Super Loud), Coffee Maker (Terrible) Bathroom: Large Shower - Could be Cleaner Bed & Sleeping - Slept Well Value: I have included the restaurant as part of my review and it was terrible. Not friendly people in this part of Houston.

The hotel itself is very nice with friendly, helpful staff, located in a great area if you're attending an event at NRG Stadium. It's within walking distance of the stadium with many restaurants and shops also walkable. Getting in and out of the parking lot with a car can be a hassle if there's a lot of traffic and the area can be noisy. The gas station across the street is also frequented by many interesting characters but they cause no trouble. I had no issues with my stay here and I would consider another stay here if I ever return to Houston.

Property felt dated but overall it was a place to stay. If you’re staying here to visit NRG Stadium just know you are not as close as it seems.

They gave my Studio King Room City view room away that I booked weeks in advance. They put me in a cheap room with 2 beds for the same price I. They Gave excuse of they are busy. No discount no apology and didn’t answer my email with this concern. They don’t care.
