"VERY BAD TREATMENT"

Had car troubles and had to cancel. Manager wouldn't even answer the phone. No offer of another night once my tire was replaced. Charged full amount and told some BS about a 30 day cancellation policy. I only made the reservation the day before. No empathy, no compassion. I've had excellent stays at other Hampton Inns and yes one bad apple spoils the whole bunch

We paid (gouged) over $500 per night (2 nights) because it was UF Family Weekend. There was a funky smell in the lobby. Our room was ok: clean, plenty of towels, shower supplies, etc. however, i found it uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible, the sheets were pilled and the ac unit was loud while running and turning off, plus it took a while to cool off. Breakfast was very good- food and replenished quickly. Charging over $500 a night is simply awful and greedy. We paid it b/c we wanted to see our daughter. I don’t think we will stay here again.
