Graduate by Hilton Fayetteville, AR

PROS: Decorations were fabulous. Convenient to great shops and restaurants. Water pressure was fabulous and hot on the 10th floor, and select a room (Hilton honors members) facing West on a higher floor so you will get a great view of the university. Best burger in town - Hugo's ...just step outside and walk West to the red sign! CONS: Hard to determine how to park (see helpful notes below). Not the friendliest staff - most front desk workers were college age. Main issue is comfort of mattresses - hard as a board...and that's not common in Hilton hotels at all so we were very surprised at our lack of sleep. BOTTOM LINE: One night - perfect location and fun. More than one night, we will have to drive to Bentonville and relax on a soft Embassy Suites mattress. That was the dealbreaker. PARKING TIPS: Valet available (really great staff but not affiliated with hotel) $39 night - pay on their website/app. Self-park next door - hotel will provide a code for you at check-in for $15/night. Simplest plan - pull up and unload luggage to spacious lobby with one passenger. Drive next door, pull up, and use app/website to pay $4/day - park yourself. Can re-enter side of hotel just steps from parking garage. Warning - the garage ceiling vaults are LOW...we drove our SUV in very carefully.

I CANNOT recommend staying at the Graduate Hotel until the Hilton decides to care more for the comfort of their guests and less for fancy decor!!! This uniquely decorated hotel seemed the perfect location for our birthday celebration until we stepped inside. 🥶🥶🥶. FREEZING!!! They really need to pawn some of the fancy lamps and razorback memorabilia for a squirt of HEAT!!! Looking around the lobby, we noticed that everyone was wearing their winter coats! We wanted to enjoy a cocktail at the lovely bar area. We ordered cocktails and chose a lovely couch ....as far from the door as possible. We were still so cold that my husband wore his winter coat and warm beanie. We quickly drank our libations like we were shooting tequila! It was too cold to enjoy ourselves. There was a cute fireplace.....that wasn't lit ! ????? We had planned to enjoy breakfast at the restaurant. It was still too cold the next morning! ( did NOT stay for coffee and breakfast!). The hotel room was interesting with tons of interesting decorations. We were able to get warm. Oddly enough, while the decor was nice the room heating was the old " under the window unit". It did work ( unlike the tv and the sink that wouldn't drain) It seems that the Hilton Graduate Hotel cared more about the esthetics than the comfort of their guest!!! I would be very hesitant to stay at other Hilton Graduate Hotels ! HILTON!!! PLEASE TURN ON THE HEAT!!!!

My family was travelling for my son to have a college visit at the University of Arkansas. We were excited to stay at the Graduate. The decor was awesome, and the vintage feel in the rooms and the lobby was on point!

The shower could have been cleaner and more up-to-date. I know the vibe is vintage, but older bathroom facilities don't count for vibes.

Stayed there many times great bar and location walk to everything!

There were a lot of good things, and some disappointments. The bed was comfy, it was quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean and well run. The decor was fun and eclectic. Lots of hot water and a great thermostat. The room keys worked well and the food in the restaurant was good. On the flip side, no microwave in the rooms? We ate out a lot and had leftovers and not having a microwave was an inconvenience to say the least. But at least we had a refrigerator. And no continental breakfast? Having to pay for parking was beyond ridiculous. I understand that there is likely an issue with parking since you are located downtown, but at least one parking pass should come with a room purchase. We are supposed to be guests. You guys need to think about trying to keep your amenities in line with the less expensive motels and hotels. Pet friendly??? I cannot believe that this hotel claims to be pet friendly when it charges $75 per night for pets. I can understand the deposit, but when does the visitor get their deposit back and how do they even know for sure that they will get it? I had to leave my well-trained (you would never even know they were there) dogs with a pet sitter in my home (that charged half as much as you do) during this trip because of all this. Your pet fees would have definitely sent me to a different place to stay under other circumstances, but my family who flew in from Florida had chosen your hotel and I wanted to be close to them as we rarely see each other, so I left the dogs (2 small Shelties) at home. Providing a bark box and a water bowl does not make up for the cost---not even close. My dogs are trained in obedience and agility, travel a lot to competitions, stay in motels and hotels all the time, do not bark when in the room, and are happy being always crated when I am not in the room with them and at night. I teach dog training classes. I can take my dogs anywhere, and they behave perfectly. I bring a blanket to put over the hotel bedding in case I want them up on the bed for a while. I always pick up after them when outside. I realize that not all pets are like this, but there should be some criteria for assessing the liability of allowing pets to stay either free or for a reasonable fee.
