Quality Inn Spearfish I-90

Comfortable and great deal for a one night stay. Not having an elevator was an issue for one of our party who has knee problems and has difficulties doing stairs, but he managed with help.

Staff was super. Breakfast was great. Very accommodating.

Checking in was good but once we got to the room, it smelled terrible and left feeling sick the next morning. We were just passing through and have been sick the rest of my trip.

When visiting Spearfish, we normally stay the adjacent Hampton Inn, but couldn’t get in on short notice. We had always noticed that the Quality Inn next door seemed tidy and busy and so decided to give it a try. We were greeted very warmly at the front desk by Naz U and given very nice, clean, and inviting rooms on the first floor. Slept great, and the breakfast served by Hayley R was delicious. Every bit as good as the aging Hampton and at a more reasonable price. Would recommend and will do it again.

Price was reasonable for the area. Got a second floor room by the road but did not hear any road noise. Be aware that there is not an elevator. Room was surprisingly big but the bathroom was very small. Extra plugs on the nightstand were a big plus. Internet speed was decent. Shower head was loooow. Talking like barely 5 ft high but the water pressure was good. Be careful when turning on the shower it is scalding!!!

Clean and the staff is friendly.

Has a great time

You could tell it was an older property, but they are working on it. The bed was comfortable, and pillows were plenty. It was clean. The breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that the whirlpool jets were not working and found a lot of hair in it. I don't think they cleaned it much. We didn't use the pool or whirlpool as didn't feel it was clean enough. Staff was very friendly but when asked about the area they didn't know too much about things.

The building itself looked old and outdated. The room was nice though, clean. Wi-Fi was weak. The shower pressure was low and the shower head was small. Staff was very friendly though.
