very kind and helpful host that met us on arrival and spent a lot of time teaching us about the city. Great location - easily walkable to everything...but away from the crowds . Very quiet compared to tourist areas in town...except for dog barking in morning. Penthouse - top floor is a bonus - quiet with no footsteps above!! safe and secure parking in garage attached to building for a small fee. A/c and laundry were a well needed perk during the heat wave.

Lots of stairs to get to this penthouse. A little small for a family of 4, with older children - but there is so much to see in Porto, that there is no need to really have a large dining and living room...this place met our needs for a safe, quiet and comfortable place to stay.

The location was very convenient and close to everything. Idalina the host was absolutely wonderful. She addressed any needs or concerns immediately. She met me at the apartment and gave me a thorough explanation of everything down to how the appliances worked. I loved my apartment it was very neat, spacious and clean and I felt at home. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that was an issue was the wifi connection. I could not stream my netflix/hulu videos because I kept getting the wifi connection was not strong enough. I had a friend who was staying in a different apartment and he had the same issue. I could really only use the wifi in the living room because the signal was not strong . Wifi is important for me when traveling especially when it is for work. If I stay in an apartment/hotel I expect to get a good signal in all rooms and be able to use all of my network apps.

The host was great at communicating, very welcoming and accommodating for what we had missed as this was our first family holiday (travelling with a 5 months old) and had been a very long day due to other non travel factors before leaving for the airport. Perfect location with main Metro right there a couple of minutes away. If we come back to Porto I would definitely be staying again
