The location of Hilton Budapest at Buda Castle is truly exceptional, with beautiful surroundings, impressive views, and a unique historic atmosphere

The staff were a disappointing surprise, as in previous years they had never seemed this indifferent or uninterested in their work

"Best Views!"

My husband and I stayed here when visiting Budapest to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Go ahead and book the Executive Danube River View Room. It’s worth it for the great view of the parliament! The executive lounge was nice for a quick breakfast before heading out and a snack/ drink before dinner. My only minor complaint is that the coffee in the lounge is awful. You can get a proper coffee in the restaurant downstairs or at the bar. The hotel is on the Buda side and a little far from some of the main tourist sites. However, we found it nice to be able to explore the area outside of peak hours before/ after all the tourists. Fisherman’s bastion is practically empty first thing in the morning. It was easy to get a Uber or Bolt back to the hotel when we had exceeded our steps for the day. Staff at reception and the bar were very welcoming and friendly. If we ever get a chance to visit again, we will stay here.
