Toftrees Golf Resort

Staff was excellent. Grounds were beautiful. The room we stayed in was very clean, but also very dated, and the lock on the door from the room to the patio was broken.

The place was 12 min driving from main campus, 4 from Target and other stores so it was pretty convenient. The restaurant has a very nice view downside it closes at 9pm.

When I checked in, they didn't have the room I booked. The room was on the ground floor with a patio ..no deck. It was so dirty you couldn't use the chair or table. The viiew was the parking lot. The matress was shot and they were replacing all the matress's in the hotel. I received one by the second night.

Place is very dated and probably hasn’t updated since it opened forty years ago. No need to pay top dollar. Better off with Marriott or IHG. We did the stay and play age paid premium price for a twilight tee time. No Marshall. Took over five hours. Stuck behind a gaggle, who sucked, and waited 10 minutes between shots. Horrible! Course is great, management sucks!

Everything is great

When we got there, our rooms were not ready and they were not adjoining rooms like we asked for. My son spilled his water on the floor in the bathroom and we wiped it up with a towel and the towel ended up being yellow. Check out isn’t until 11 AM And housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9 AM. We told them that our son was sleeping in the other room that we had and not to go in there. Housekeeping proceeded to knock on that door anyway, even though it had do not disturb on it and when they didn’t answer, he walked into the room. My husband yelled at him for going into that room.

Beautiful views, nice balcony, and very nice pool. Relaxing stay.

Place need a total make over, very old and rooms smell, bathroom was not cleaned and very outdated. Staff is very friendly and nice, golf course is in a great shape.

I stayed at the Toftrees Resort for three nights to attend a conference. There are no elevators, which makes access a bit complicated for those with mobility issues. The rooms were comfortable. The food was good, and the dining area and bar provided a nice atmosphere. It would be nice if the pool and the restaurant/bar stayed open a little later. The pool closed at 8:00 p.m. and the restaurant/bar at 9:00 p.m. The conference rooms were on the chilly side, but the staff were very accommodating in trying to adjust the temperature.
