Hyatt Place Baton Rouge/I-10

The hotel was quiet. The breakfast could have been way better. The eggs were watery. There was also no waffle maker like we are used to at other hotels. The room was freezing. The lobby music was annoying because it sounds like to speakers are blown out.

I visited this Hyatt location while driving into town for a graduation and was looking forward to getting some rest after a long trip. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. After pulling back the covers on the bed, I was disgusted to find dirty, stained sheets along with hair in the bed and on the pillows. In addition, the A/C did not work properly, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable throughout the night. Although I believe the desk clerk’s name was Deja, I do want to acknowledge that she immediately brought me clean, fresh sheets right away, which I appreciated. However, after speaking with a gentleman at the front desk regarding the issue with the air conditioning, the only resolution offered was extra points, which I honestly felt was inadequate considering the condition of the room and the uncomfortable stay after paying $200+ for a hotel room. This experience was very disappointing and not what I expected from a Hyatt property.

Clean and comfortable, really enjoyed our stay here.

Location is off main road way, lots of traffic

Saturday they put out old French toast sticks - maybe 10 or 12 - no other hot breakfast items! Sunday there was absolutely no hot breakfast items - only packaged cereals, etc. They really shouldn’t advertise “hot breakfasts” or lower their prices
