Room had damp smell

This hotel was totally different than the pictures at your site actually it was a motel not a hotel. And I left the hotel after one night. And I waiting to return my money back please.

The Front Desk staffs are very accomodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The room and furnitures are a bit tired.

I stayed here during a layover on my way home, as I had a 20 hour wait. It was called ‘city centre’ hotel but I did not feel that it was close to anything. The hotel was in need of a refurbishment. Having stayed at the Mercure in Bangkok a couple of weeks before, I opted for a Mercure as I had a pleasant stay, however my expectations were let down with this hotel. The hotel was dated and I felt that the corridors and rooms were dark and did not smell very nice. The room was in need of modernisation. The shower was fine and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist who checked me in was polite but I did not experience the same customer service as that of Bangkok. The pool was small but there were plenty of sun loungers. The overall stay was fine but I would have expected more from a 4 star hotel.

This Mercure was way below the standard of any Mercure hotel we have stayed in. It really needs an update. Our sheets had holes and the mattress protector was really stained and needed to be throw out. Spider webs in the bathroom. The list goes on and on. There was a huge amount of building works in the area as well which made it feel unpleasant. Breakfast was really good with s very wide variety of food. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful.

That was a pleasant experience staying in Mercure. Staff were very polite and helpful.

We stayed for only 1 day , not night and not breakfast , it was good and the price was ok , good swimming pool and good free parking

Old hotel but clean. Staff were great and accommodating. Good location as it’s only a couple of blocks from the souk. Can get really hot walking out so bring a hat or an umbrella if you’re walking in the day. Be wary of some of the guests though esp if you’re a solo female traveler. One of the guests tried to lure me into his room 😳

Good value for money.

Decent hotel, helpful staff. Hotel website said airport shuttle it didn’t say that you had to book before you arrived. Swimming pool was empty and being worked on.
