Eine hervorragende Unterkunft mit Rundum-Blick auf die Toskana Borgo dei Gigli ist ein idyllischer Ort mit einer unglaublich schönen Aussicht von den Hügeln in die malerische Toskana-Landschaft. Das Gästehaus hat einige Wohnungen in verschiedenen Größen. Es ist aber eine kleine Anlage, so dass die familiäre Atmosphäre immer erhalten bleibt. Die Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet, landestypisch möbliert, sehr gemütlich und vor allem sehr sauber. Die Vermieterfamilie wohnt selbst dort und kümmert sich um alles. Alles ist sehr großzügig und auch sehr geschmackvoll angelegt und wird täglich gepflegt. Grüne Gartenanlagen, Möglichkeiten für Freizeitspiele und ein Kinderspielplatz ist auch vorhanden. Toll fanden wir, dass jede Gartenwohnung ihren eigenen Pavillon hat, wo man gemütlich frühstücken und essen kann. Man hat immer seine eigene Privatsphäre. Der Infinity-Pool mit dem Whirlpool und dem oben genannten Blick auf die Landschaft ist in der Tat ein Highlight. Es sind so viele Schirme und Liegen vorhanden, dass es nie eng wird. Einzig in der Küche haben wir uns hier und da etwas mehr an Utensilien gewünscht, aber das wäre Jammern auf höchstem Niveau. Eine Waschmaschine und ein Geschirrspüler ist jedenfalls vorhanden, und das ist für eine Ferienwohnung sicherlich auch nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich. Supermärkte, Tankstellen, Restaurants und Cafes sind in der Nähe reichlich vorhanden und mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ebenso sind weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z. B. Florenz und Pisa nur eine gute Autostunde entfernt, so dass man von hier aus sehr gut Tagesausflüge fürs Sightseeing machen kann. Wir sind auf jeden Fall begeistert, haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Wir hatten kaum etwas zu beanstanden

Our stay at Borgo de Gigli was truly beyond our expectations. Ms. Domika was absolutely lovely — warm, kind, and so good with children. The kids adored her. The entire property is fenced, which gave us great peace of mind. We could let the children play freely in the garden, knowing they were safe. They were never bored — always busy with table football, ping pong, or just exploring. The whole place is beautifully kept and full of charm. The beds were exceptionally comfortable — we all slept like babies every night. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing. These five days were incredibly special for us, and we’ll cherish the memories for a long time.

The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, with a great view! We loved that there were many things to do on the property: the pool is lovely, and there are options to grill, play ping-pong, billiards, and much more.

I didn’t like that the air conditioning comes at an extra cost, but depending on the time of year, you might not need it.

Amazing apartment! Even better then the pictures show. Very clean and spacious with amazing views. The pool is beautiful with also an amazing view. The property is very well kept. My son loved the pool table. The apartment is well equiped, great shower. All the apartments have a gazebo with beautiful views over the valley. The welcome gift of olive oil and wine was a nice surprise. Would very much recommend.

It is a superb location, with both an amazing setting and a positive energy. The buildings, over 200-250 years old, have been beautifully renovated to offer modern comfort. The apartments are spacious, and the courtyard facilities are excellent — including a swimming pool, barbecue area, multiple terraces, table tennis, and an indoor billiard table for cooler days. The kindness and helpfulness of Mrs. Donika made the experience even better. The view is extraordinary, and the location is perfectly positioned as a starting point for visiting many tourist destinations across Tuscany.

Due to the location being in the heart of nature, there were quite a lot of insects (especially shield bugs, also known as stink bugs). At times, it felt overwhelming. Since the area is protected, their presence is understandable, but they were still a bit disturbing. Another small inconvenience was the fluctuating water pressure in the shower. Despite these minor issues, we truly believe the accommodation fully deserves the highest rating.

Det var et fantastisk sted, godt op i bjergene med alt hvad der hører til sådan et sted, det var en mindre lejlighed, stod selv for alt. Man skal være klar på selv at æave lidt rengøring osv. Ingen forplejning

Amazing views from the property and the pool, the shared pool has everything, comfortable loungers, whirl pool, showers, and the most amazing views to relax by. We had a 2 bed property, small but perfect for our stay, it had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, washing machine was a bonus, and private outdoor dining area. Very clean and tidy with again amazing views! Good supermarket nearby in Lamporecchio and we had an excellent meal at Bar Enoteca e cucina l'Indicatore with views over the valley. Lovely stay and would highly recommend

Location is a good drive to the nearest large cities via winding roads, we didn’t mind this so didn’t put us off but is worth knowing
