We were 5 i had to pay for an extra bed because there was not enough room where supposedly there was
Easy access and near a great BBQ restuarant.
Our TV didn't work at all for hours so we called the office and a nice African American lady came by to try fix the problem but she couldn't so she provided us with another room at 12am in the morning. The following day we were woken up by a knock on the door at 9:00 by housekeepers to come vacate our room but we told the lady thru the door that we were staying til check-out and shortly after at 10:45 the housekeepers knocked again but only this time she quickly went over to the next room as if she was hiding. We felt like she was basically rushing us out the room. After we packed all of our belongings to head out we went to the front desk to let someone know. We were greeted by a grey hair gentlemen who was absolutely rude he accused my husband of lying about the times the housekeeper came by. We almost always check into this hotel when we visit but because of how we were treated I'm not so sure of that now. However the daughter of the owner did apologize and she promised she would talk to the maids and change the times they arrive to clean.
Everything in general was fine. The mattress was saggy in the middle and seemed pretty worn but once I got comfortable I slept well. The TV in the room did not work! The staff came to try and get it started but could not!
the bed was hard as a rock, the sheet metal under the bed popped when you move in bed or got on the bed, bathroom door coming of the hinges had to lift door to close, exhaust fan in bathroom was only held in place by the paint on one side, TV only had one channel, phone didn't work, housekeeping only changed the towels They came in the room when we were gone and got the towels but didn't put new ones in we had to go get them then they gave us one extra but came back later and removed it when we were gone. the paint in the bathroom was all bubbled there were old electric boxes that were not covered. It was bad that we left one day early because we couldtn't stand it any more.
